Who we are

Capital Pressure Supply LLC, a Virginia company, doing business as Capital Pressure Supply (pressure washing) and Shine Works Supply (auto detailing), with counters in Manassas and Fredericksburg, Virginia. This app is ours. It is for customers the store already knows — there is no sign-up in it.

What this app holds, and where it comes from

Almost everything you see here is a copy of what is already on your account at the store’s point-of-sale system. The copy holds:

  • your name, company, phone number and email
  • your purchase history — order numbers, dates, line items and totals
  • the status of your repairs and rentals
  • your store credit, any challenge progress, and your house-account balance and terms
  • your pricing tier, which is what makes your prices yours

Two things are made in this app rather than copied into it. If you sign a rental agreement or a service authorization here, we keep the signed document, the name you typed, the picture of your signature, the time, and the IP address and device description of the phone you signed on — those last two are what makes a signature hold up later. If you fill in a house-account application here, we keep what you typed in it until the store collects it. The form refuses a Social Security number, a bank account number, a routing number or a card number, and so does the store’s system when it collects the application — two separate checks, because a form on a phone is not trusted.

What this app does not hold: no card numbers, no bank details, no Social Security number, and no inventory counts — stock is only ever the words “in stock”, “low stock” or “out of stock”.

Signing in

There is no password. You type the phone number or the email already on your account and we send a 6-digit code to it. Texts go through Twilio and emails through Resend — they handle the delivery and see the number or address the code is going to. Codes expire in minutes and are stored as a one-way hash, never as the digits themselves. We also keep a short-lived log of how many codes have been requested for a contact or from an IP address, so nobody can grind at somebody else’s account.

The concierge (Ask us)

When you ask a question, we look products up first and only then ask an AI model to put the answer into words. What is sent to the model is: your question, the earlier messages in that same conversation, the product sheets our search found, and the store’s own written articles. Your name, your account id, your order history and your balance are not sent — the model is told it is talking to a signed-in trade customer and nothing more about you. Prices in those sheets are your tier prices, so the model sees the number without being told whose it is.

The model is Anthropic’s Claude, running on Amazon Bedrock under the store’s own account. For questions that go past our shelves the model may run up to two web searches, through Brave Search (or DuckDuckGo if no Brave key is configured); the search words are product, brand or technique terms and are screened so personal details cannot end up in a search query.

Voice is a convenience, not a recording: in the iOS app speech is turned into text by Apple’s speech recognition — on your phone where it can be, otherwise by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy — and on the web by whatever recogniser your browser provides. We never receive or store audio — only the words, which then go the same way a typed question does.

Camera

The iOS app can scan a shelf label so you don’t have to type a SKU. The scan happens on your device and only the barcode’s digits are used, as if you had typed them into the search box. No photo or video leaves your phone, and nothing is saved. The app asks for the camera the first time you tap Scan, and it works perfectly well if you say no.

No ads, no tracking, no analytics

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not advertise in this app, we run no third-party analytics or tracking scripts of any kind, and there is no advertising identifier, pixel or cross-app tracking here. The app is not indexed by search engines. The only outside services involved are the ones named above — Twilio, Resend, Amazon Bedrock, a web search provider — plus Supabase, which hosts the database, and Vercel, which hosts the app.

How long we keep it

The copy in this app is refreshed from the store’s system every few minutes and lives as long as your account does. Sign-in codes expire in minutes. Signed agreements and house-account applications stay until the store collects them, and then the store’s own system is the copy that matters.

Deleting your account

Open Account and tap Delete my account at the bottom. Your sign-in and the copy of your purchases, repairs, rentals and store credit in this app are removed, and the store is told to stop sending them. The store keeps its own business records — receipts, signed agreements, house-account history — as the law requires; ask at the counter about those. If you want back in afterwards, a staff member can set it up at the counter.

Children

This is a tool for trade customers of a supply house. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
